About Us Mission Statement The Beltway Flag Football League (BFFL) provides the opportunity for adults, regardless of their race, nationality, economic status, religious affiliation, age or natural ability to develop teamwork skills, learn fair play and sportsmanship, and enjoy healthy flag football competition. In addition, in an effort to grow the game and promote the importance of academics and physical activity in building a healthy, well-balanced child, the BFFL will also provide free youth clinics for local school-aged children. History After years of success both on and off the flag football field, Lonzell “Zell” Offutt, Tom White, Duane Smith and Tracy “T-Warrior” Harris felt there was a need to not only supply an arena for the best full-contact flag football competition in Maryland, DC and Virginia, but to also provide customer service and accountability to the players, sponsors and community that the league serves.
